Ademola Lookman may be staying put at Atalanta as a reported move to Paris St Germain remains a mirage.
There were several reports linking the Super Eagles player to PSG, who were also reported to have agreed terms with Lookman and assuring him of €3.5m per season pay, but it turned out that French Ligue 1 giants have not considered tabling a bid for the player.
Lookman’s name had effectively been mentioned as a possible replacement for PSG’s Goncalo Ramos, who is expected to miss around three months of action through injury. However, reports in France suggest that PSG’s squad is ‘complete’ and is already prepared to cover the loss of Ramos.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, reports that Lookman is more likely to stay on with Atalanta with each passing day.
