Napoli coach Antonio Conte said he is frustrated with constant questions about the lingering transfer speculations between Napoli top striker Victor Osimhen and Chelsea wantaway striker Romelu Lukaka.
Both players have been in the centre of a swap deal speculations between Chelsea and Napoli, but so far, all the parties involved are yet to untangle the complicated situation.
Speaking ahead of Napoli’s game against Bologna Conte said:
“Let’s get straight to the point. Last week we had a press conference where we only spoke about the transfer market. I received zero questions about Verona, maybe one, but we didn’t talk about football and what happened,” Conte said, reported via TMW.
“I want to talk about Bologna. As you know, it’s a big match, you know what they did last year. Let’s put all our focus on the game, it’s more important to me.”
Meanwhile it has been reported that Chelsea are warming up for a potential deal for Osimhen with Lukaku and Carney Chukwuemeka going the other way. This is just as Arsenal continue to keep an eye on the situation between Osimhen and Napoli with seven days to the end of the summer transfer window, it remains to be seen which of the London Clubs Osimhen would be signed
