Manchester United failed to keep up their opening day momentum as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.
Former United striker Danny Welbeck opened scoring for Brighton; Amad Diallo drew level for United level in the second half and Joao Pedro scored a late winner in the fifth minute of added time.
Speaking on the loss Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag blames three players Diogo Dalot, Kobbie Mainoo and Noussair Mazraoui for slack defending.
“We didn’t stop the cross,” Ten Hag said.
“There were three players. [Adingra is a] right-footed player, send him down the line, send him wide instead of letting him come in and let the cross.
“We have, of course, to talk about this.”
