Self-acclaimed sex-therapist Hauwa Mohammed, a.k.a Jaruma, said she wasn’t in a real marriage with former husband Ross Fahad Isabor.
Jaruma said she only got hooked to Fahad Isabor to avoid scrutiny from members of the public particular northerns based on her line of work. She and Fahad ended their union in 2021 after three years.
“There was massive criticism from the north because I was selling sex products as a single lady,” Jaruma said in a chat on Issues and Society podcast.
“They wondered why people allowed a single woman to teach them what happens in the bedroom for lots of money.
“I didn’t get married because of love. I got married a month after meeting my ex-husband just to get away from the pressure.”
She admitted that she made N760 million in just three years. “The sex industry is a multi-billion industry.
“I have a booming business, so I couldn’t just leave because of the heat.”
In 2022, Ross Fahad Isabor, Jaruma’s ex-husband, publicly accused her of using his name to sell what he referred to as “fake products.”
