Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface said he would rather remain in Germany or go to Spain to play rather than join a club in the English Premier League but would not hesitate if a big offer comes.
The Bayer Leverkusen hit man who was speaking against the background of interest from Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham reported to be monitoring his progress in the German Bundesliga said he has no desire to play in England.
“I don’t really like the Premier League. I’ve been saying this even before I had an international passport. I prefer Spanish football or German football,” Bonface told SportyTV
“I’m not saying if a good team comes for me, I will not go. But if you ask me to pick two countries, I really want to play in Germany and Spain.”
