Viju Industries, producers of Vigor energy drink has expressed satisfaction with its sponsorship of the recently concluded African University Games organised by the Federation of African University Sports FASU.
The Games, which ran between
September 20 to 29, 2024 in Lagos saw American University in Cairo, Egypt winning top spot with 46 Gold, 28 Silver, and 8 Bronze medals.
Hosts, Lagos State University placed
second with 28 Gold, 30 Silver, and 26 Bronze medals, while co-hosts University of Lagos was third winning 25 Gold, 23 Silver, and 40 Bronze medals.
By sponsoring and showing their presence throughout the Games, Viju Industries once again demonstrated its corporate social responsibility, using its Vigor energy brand to support the over 4000 delegates to the Games
The athletes competed in several sports including swimming, which took place at the swimming pool of the National Stadium Surulere Lagos.
