Afrobeats superstar Ayodele Balogun a.k.a Wizkid was forced to relocated from a London club where he gone partying after his rival David Adeleke a.k.a Davido came in with his crew and took over proceedings.
Wzkid was at the club to support his official disc jockey, DJ Tunez, who was performing and had been enjoying himself, when Davido came and started making some noise, Wizkid got up and left.
He posted later on his X page: “Una papa (Davido) never see superstar for him life… He should have tried anything and see.”
Wizkid recently launched a barrage of innuendos at Davido who reportedly took over his endorsement deals with UBA and PUMA. Davido has remained almost silent in face of the jibes aimed at him and his dad by Wizkid.
The Wizkid-Davido dispute dates back to the early 2010s, when both musicians were rising as prominent figures in the Afrobeat scene.
Wizkid rose to popularity with his debut album ‘Superstar’ in 2011, while Davido achieved success with his breakthrough track ‘Dami Duro’ the same year.
