The Super Eagles will return to Cote d’Ivoire to face the Cheetahs of Benin Republic and the host Amavumbis of Rwanda in the reverse legs of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers billed for November 14 and November 18.
The match against Gernot Rohr’s Cheetahs will be at the same the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan, where the Super Eagles lost 2-1 to the Benin Republic in a World Cup qualifier in July, it led to the resignation of coach Finidi George.
The Super Eagles seem to have pick up the pieces as they beat the Cheetahs in September’s AFCON qualifier 3-0 in Uyo, a result which humbled the Cheetahs who are on six points behind the Super Eagles on 10 points in the group D chart. After the game in Cote d’Ivoire the Super Eagles will host Rwanda on Monday, November 18.
