Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk said he would make a decision whether star striker Victor Osimhen will play in Thursday night’s UEFA Europa League clash against visiting Tottenham.
Osimhen suffered a minor injury in Galatasaray’s last game, but he trained with team Tuesday coach Buruk noted that he is under consideration.
“Victor Osimhen trained, but we will make a decision about him and other players.
“We will try to clarify this in the last training.
Meanwhile, report by media outlet Forza Cimbom hinted that Osimhen’s wages could be a stumbling block to making his loan deal with Galatasaray a permanent move. Galatasaray who are paying Osimhen’s annual income of €6 million while on loan, may not be able to cope when his salary would likely surge to as high as €20m if he were to join the Istanbul club permanently.
Galatasaray are now looking for a way to fund the players stay in the Turkey League. He has scored four goals and registered three assists in seven appearances across all competitions so far for Gala.
