Victor Osimen has reaffirmed that he would be staying till the end of the season at Galatasaray against the background of speculations he might leave in January.
Osimhen who was speaking after scoring a brace in Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over visiting Tottenham in Thursday night’s Europa League said he was happy in Turkey, and he is ready to give everything to the club till the end of the season where a decision would be made on his future.
“I will not leave in January, I am at Galatasaray until the end of the season,” the star striker said
“I do not know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about afterwards, but if they come to me, we will talk. Galatasaray is a nice club that I like very much.
“I am very happy at Galatasaray. I saw how big a family Galatasaray fans, the club, are. I am very happy with how they treat me and my family. I want to give them everything… Istanbul”
Yunus Akgün opened scoring for Galatasaray in the 6th minute. Tottenham levelled up with Will Lankshear goal, before Osimhen bagged his double to set the home fans into a frenzy
“Osimhen gave everything despite being tired, and it paid off spectacularly,” said Gala coach Okan Buruk.
