Vampire Grace who produced the song “Winning” for the PSquare band has spoken against being dragged into the squabble by Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye.
Paul Okoye a.k.a Rudeboy had accused his twin brother Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr. P of appropriating and releasing the song “Winning” which he claimed was written by him. After chastising Mr. P, he told the producer of the song: “Mr Producer, your case is for another day.”
But chiming into the controversy Saturday Vampire Grace post on his Facebook handle.
“I produced and recorded “Winning” for PSquare in 2022. I sent stems for Psquare in 2022 for mixing and mastering, I got paid and left Lagos.
“Two years later one Psquare released the song how is that my fault? Na me dey manage Psquare?”
Fans reacted:
@Amara Decency: One of the squares said he wanted to release the song next year, but his other square was faster than him. The song doesn’t belong to either of them from what the producer said. They recorded it as psquare
@Ihechi Merit: And every square is claiming the song. None of them owns the song as they are claiming. The song belongs to psquare. They should come together and make it a reality.
@Gossipmillnaija: Truthfully, I’ve always wondered what happened behind the scenes of that song.
@Praise Ojemeh: Let them resolve their differences oo . One square has released, and the other square should release too since they want to be irresponsible, mtcheeeeeeew
