Nigerian music diva and Grammy Award winner, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems is set for her first ever concert in South Africa.
Tems has locked up March 20, 2025, to thrill her South African fans in the concert that will hold in Johannesburg at the at The Dome, Nasrec, which opens in January 2025.
“This highly anticipated concert promises to showcase Tems’ signature sound and powerful stage presence, making it a must-see event for fans,” said a statement by Big Concerts, promoters of the show.
Known for her unique blend of Afrobeat, R&B and neo-soul, Tems has captivated audiences worldwide, and her Johannesburg concert is set to be an unforgettable live experience. Her song “Love Me Je Je” is list for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
In 2023, Tems won her first Grammy in the category Best Melodic Rap Performance for her contribution to the song Wait for U, a collaboration with Future and Drake.
Meanwhile Tems said she would want to avoid being on social media. She said: “I think social media is kinda scary. If I had the option of not being on social media forever, I would take it” –
