Nigeria music diva Tiwa Savage believes that it is nothing but poverty that is pushing Nigerians artists and movie makers to make it big time at home and abroad.
Tiwa Savage who was speaking during a chat on the ‘Shopping the Sneakers’ podcast, said life is difficult in Nigeria and that has pushed many youths to exploit their talents in different ways.
“When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”
Nigeria has Africa’s largest movie, music, comedy and fashion industries. Nollywood is the second largest movie industry in the world.
