Galatasaray loanee Victor Osimhen said winning the Europa League title with the Turkish side is his major goal.
Osimhen scored in Thursday night’s clash against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. What could have been the winner for Osimhen and Galatasaray in the dying was ruled out for offside and bothsides settled for a 1-1 draw.
Osimhen who was scoring his third goal of the tournament said despite the draw they would keep on pushing for the title.
“I said I would score a goal, and I did. Now, I make another promise: I will bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey.
“It feels good to score a goal, but we left the pitch with just one point. However, we must continue to push forward.
“Our team’s performance was commendable, and importantly, we remain unbeaten in Europe,” he added.
