A Russian actress Kamilla Belyatskaya has died after she was swept into the sea while practicing yoga on a rock at the edge of the water.
The 24-year-old Belyatskaya, was holidaying in Thailand when the freak accident happened three days to her wedding to her boyfriend of five years.
Belyatskaya, who was enchanted by the beauty of a scenic coastal location, took to social media to share her amazement, proclaiming it the “best thing” she had ever seen. However, her peaceful experience quickly turned into turmoil when a powerful wave swept her off her feet and into the water.
Rescue teams were immediately sent out in an effort to rescue her; still, by the time they reached her, she had already disappeared under the water. Days later, her body washed up near a hotel on the same shore.
Her fiancé, who learned of her disappearance through social media, shared his grief, saying, “ I’m devastated, I’m heartbroken. We were going to get married in a few days.”
Belyatskaya’s tragic passing has left her loved ones and fans in mourning, as they remember the actress for her vibrant spirit and love of life.
