Reports in some quarters that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recovered $800 million, ₦700 billion cash, and drugs worth ₦1 trillion from Bello El-Rufai’s home has been dismissed by the agency.
Bello who is he eldest son of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai also denied there was any invasion of his home by EFCC agents.
The EFCC said Thursday on its Facebook account Thursday that the claim was a false narrative of its activities.

This piece of news quoted above is a false narrative of the activities of the EFCC. Members of the public are enjoined to ignore it.”
Bello El-Rufai who is a member of the House of Representatives, representing Kaduna North said: “My constituents that I represent know what will happen if I was blessed with such figures.”
