Manchester United shockingly lost 3-2 at Old Trafford to Nottingham Forest on Saturday and former defender Gary Neville slammed coach Ruben Amorim for not being consistence in his
team selection.
It was the second straight loss for United after Amorim took over from Erick ten Hag and it appears the Red Devils are in for more trouble.
Neville who won a treble with United during the time of Sir Alex Ferguson lamented.
“When you keep changing players, when you keep changing your back three, you take five players off, you’re basically saying to all of them effectively, because they’ve obviously been left out of the start of the game, is that you don’t trust them.
“Ten Hag kept doing that a few weeks ago, he kept changing the back players, changing the midfield, all of a sudden you’ve got a completely different system, a completely different set of players on the pitch at the end of the game, and you never get stability or consistency.”
Manchester United are away to Viktoria Plzen next in Europa League and on December 15 trek to the Etihad Stadium for their Manchester derby against City.
