Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen’s next destination after his loan spell at Galatasaray remains a long subject of speculations.
Several English Premier League and European clubs are said to be eyeing the player, but Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong thinks he knows where Osimhen might end up at the summer.
“I can tell you he’s a Chelsea fan, I can confirm that,” Troost-Ekong told talkSPORT.
The centre-back also praised Osimhen’s mentality and leadership qualities.
“He’s a great teammate. In front of goal, he can be very greedy, but he’s someone who speaks up for the team in the changing room. He’s a real leader, and I’m sure he’ll be captain soon,” he added.
“The first time he joined us in 2019, he was the understudy to Odion Ighalo, but during the training, we were so impressed.”
Arsenal is reported to be one of the clubs vying for Osimhen. Former Gunners player Emmanuel Petit has urged Mikel Arteta to move the player in the January window.
