Badenoch speaks again; says she doesn’t want UK to become like Nigeria

UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch is not yet done in her tirades against Nigeria.
The politician born to Nigerian parents in the UK said she will do everything possible to prevent her country of birth from becoming a third world country like Nigeria, which everybody wants to run away from.
“It’s not about bringing the culture from the other place and turning the UK into the place you just come from. If I wanted to be in Nigeria, I would have moved back to Nigeria. I don’t want to recreate Nigeria in the UK,” stated Ms Badenoch.
Having lived in Nigeria for some years, she said citizens are not treated equally, but by their social and political standing, Ms Badenoch said it was important to preserve Britain’s liberal values— free speech and equality under the law.
“So it’s very, very precious. And I will die to protect those things. And I don’t want the UK being turned into the sort of place that everybody else is running from.”
Meanwhile commenting on Badenoch’s take on Nigeria, former presidential candidate and Economist, Kingsley Moghalu, has advised Nigerian leaders to focus on building the country’s economy, saying that the intense recent debate on Badenoch’s remarks does not hold any value for the country.
He said, “Even if she were to become the UK Prime Minister tomorrow morning, it would have absolutely ZERO implications (or benefits even) for Nigeria and Nigerians.”
“So why all the fuss? Nigerian leaders and Nigerians should fix Nigeria’s problems. “Claiming” Kemi or her “denying” Nigeria won’t solve them,” he said.
