Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx was hit was a glass and needed stitches after his 57th birthday outing turn into a brawl.
Foxx was having dinner with friends at restaurant in Beverly Hills when his evening was interrupted by customers at another table who became too loud. The actor left the scene before police arrived to calm the situation.
TMZ spoke to a witness to the event, who said “customers at another table were being rude and vulgar to Jamie, and he asked them to stop since his family was present,” adding, “which is when someone at that table allegedly threw the glass that hit him in the face.” He was with his daughters, Corinne and Anelise Foxx, along with his ex Kristin Grannis.
The Oscar-winning actor took to Instagram to thank his fans and people who checked in on him.
“The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… thank you to everybody that pray and check on me,” he wrote in the captions of the post. “When your light is shining bright… they try to bring you darkness … but they don’t know that you’re built for it… the lights have been shining bright…”
