Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to make a move for Victor Osimhen if they hope to win the Premier League title.
Arsenal struggles to score goals is slowing them down again this season, they lack the firepower and have to rely on set piece goals to win them points.
They are currently third in the Premier League standings behind Liverpool and Chelsea.
“But I don’t even think you’ve got to buy an Osimhen, although I would buy Osimhen. You’ve got to buy someone who can come in and impact games.”
Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, may not be available in the January transfer window but a summer move in 2025 could be a more realistic possibility.
As one of Europe’s most lethal forwards, Osimhen would undoubtedly strengthen Arsenal’s attack and provide a significant boost to their title ambitions.
The Gunners take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend, looking to keep pace with Liverpool and Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.
