World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk indicated that he is not about to flaunt his wealth and not interested in bling despite making a huge pay day of $191m from his rematch against Tyson Fury last weekend.
While in Turkey training for the fight the Ukrainian born boxing bought an imitation Rolex watch from vendors for $100.
“It’s a Chinese Rolex,” he told Home of Fight.
“I was in Turkey for training and saw guys selling Rolexes on the beach. I thought if I bought one, no one would guess that it was a fake. So I bought it for $100.”
Usyk who from his first fight with Tyson Fury made about $30m is not given to flamboyancy but uses his wealth to help Ukrainian Forces and civilians amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia through his Usyk Foundation.
