John Mahama who was sworn Tuesday January 7, 2025 as Ghana’s President after his December 7, 2024 victory caused an uproar during his widely televised inauguration by addressing Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu as President of Ghana.
Mahama oblivious of the slip of tongue rambled on with his speech at the Black Star Square Accra and Nigerians back at home monitoring events on social media have called on their Ghanaian brothers to keep Tinubu as their President.
“Your excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, president of the Federal Republic of Ghana,” Mahama said noted while observing the protocol of guest.
