Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti hinted that it seems ironic that Darlington Achakpo a.k.a Speed Darlington could shade Burna Boy for associating with disgraced American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Seun Kuti argued during an Instagram chat that it was the same Diddy who made Speed Darlington popular by reposting one his song “Bangdadang.”
Burna Boy allegedly orchestrated the detention of Speed Darlington by the Nigeria police based on allegations of cyber bullying of Burna Boy. Speed Darlington had dragged Burna Boy to come clean on his relationship with Diddy.
“Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular,” said Seun Kuti when asked of views on the matter between his two colleagues.
“He Diddy reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song.”
