Veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Okeke a.k.a Kakaki said he decided to quit acting because movie directors only wanted to give him armed robbery roles.
Okeke disclosed that outside of Nollywood he is an easy-going person who abhors violence, but he has now been stigmatised by fans because of his violent roles in moves.
“I was very cool playing the bad boy, hitman roles until fans started saying “see that thief for film” when they see me off camera,” Okeke
“See there are certain roles you play in movies that make you stigmatised with it.
“I live a very responsible life, and I am educated, I tried to talk to directors to see if they could place me elsewhere, but every role was about crimes.
“I had to take my leave because I can do better ”
