On air personality and social media influencer Toke Makinwa has hit out at singer Innocent Idibia a.k.a 2Baba the way he announced his separation from wife Annie Macaulay Idibia.
2Baba shocked his fans Sunday by posting on Instagram he plans to part ways with wife of 11 years Annie Idibia.
Makinwa wasted no time in reprimanding the music star when she wrote on the comment section on the post made by 2Baba: “This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here.
“Bring it on. If you think she’s alone, let me tell you here that you’ll have to fight all of us.
She called on all women to rally round Annie Macaulay.
“I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong, and as a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it’ll touch your daughter or any female in your family.
“No one is innocent, and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we would fight for her.”
Makinwa, who has been vocal about relationship issues, is no stranger to marital controversy. Her own marriage to Maje Ayida ended in 2015 after he impregnated his ex-girlfriend, leading to their union’s dissolution by a Lagos High Court on the grounds of adultery.
