AC Milan will gladly offload attacking midfielder Samuel Chukweze if the opportunity arises before the January transfer window closes on Monday.
Despite helping Milan to a 3-2 over Parma last Sunday, new coach Sergio Conceicao has made it clear the Super Eagles player is not in his plans. Milan directors are now looking for offers for Chukweze whose contract expires in 2028 after his 2023 summer switch from Villareal.
According to reports by Calciomercato.com, Real Sociedad, could offer an exit out of Italy for Chukweze. The LaLiga side is said to be interested in signing the player on a loan deal, but Milan are expecting a permanent deal for the player.
Chukwueze was Milan’s most expensive signing joining for €20m plus €8m in bonuses from Villarreal. He penned a contract until 2028 with a salary of €4m net per season.
