Disgraced US rapper and music executive Sean Diddy Combs has warmed up to calls by fellow rapper Kanye West for him to be released from jail.
Diddy, 55, is facing charges sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution and has been remanded at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City, since he was arrested in September 2024. He denied the allegations.
Federal prosecutors have accused him of “creating a criminal enterprise” in which he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct”.
Kanye West in a series of post on his social media handles called on US President Donald Trump to free Diddy from jail, adding that his clothesline Yeezy will collaborate with Diddy’s brand Sean John to make money. Both rappers have been feuding for three years.
Thanking Kanye for his support, Diddy reposted the rapper’s tweets about their clothing collaboration, taking to Instagram from behind bars to write: ‘Thank you to my brother @Ye’, and sharing a link to the Yeezy website.
