A bandit leader Kachalla Dan Lukuti, has died after fallen ill and exhibiting strange symptoms.
Dan Lukuti a notorious terrorist who operated in Zamfara and Katsina States was reported to have developed the illness which made him become aggressive, convulsed uncontrollably and persistently barked like a rabid dog.
According to Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region, Dan Lukuti fell sick about a week ago.
His gang members unsure what befell their leader kept their distance and unable to provide medical assistance to him, they believe he had been afflicted diabolically and watched him die from a distance. They forced villagers in Kizara to bury him in the premises of a local primary school.
