Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable Wednesday walked into the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba Lagos.
Lagos Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development: “Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up.”
On Tuesday Portable claimed that he was mentally ill and pleaded with Nigerians to come to his aid in his trouble with the Ogun State government. However, the police insisted that he must report himself.
Meanwhile, Senator Adeola Solomon a.k.a Yayi representing Ogun West whom Portable name dropped in his trouble with the law, has distanced himself from the “Zazau ” singer. Senator Adeola through his media aide Damilare Oloyede, advised Portable to leave the lawmaker out of his legal troubles.
