Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr P, said his twin brother Paul Okoye told a lie when he claimed that he Peter caused the troubles of their elder brother and Psquare manager Jude Okoye.
Jude Okoye is currently trying to free himself from the Ikoyi Correctional Centre where he has been remanded after being arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for allegedly laundering huge sums of money in local and foreign currencies.
During his bail application Friday, Paul Okoye had claimed that it was Peter who set up Jude for the EFCC indictment.
Speaking on behalf of Peter Okoye his manager Emem Emma, said there was no truth behind Paul’s allegations.
“Peter has nothing to do with this issue. And I don’t think he has any comment on this issue. The case is between the EFCC, based on their investigation, and Jude Okoye.
“I don’t see how Peter Okoye has anything to do with it. We have no comment on this matter. Peter didn’t drag anybody to the EFCC.
“The petition was against the company that has been receiving funds on his behalf. And he knew nothing about it. Don’t mix up issues, and let’s not create issues where they are not.
“The EFCC was the one that received all of this, so I think it’s best to speak to them to know the facts of the case, and their findings.
