Rapper Darlington Achakpo a.k.a Speed Darlington, has alleged that Burna Boy faked the recent sex-for-Lamborghini episode with socialite Sophia Egbueje to prove to Nigerians he was not gay.
The Nigerian social media space was on fire last week after a leaked audio tape linked to Sophia accused Burna of having an affair with her and failing to fulfil his promise of buying her a Lamborghini. Burna Boy went on to diss her during a performance in Kenya.
Weighing in on the saga Speed Darlington who had been on the neck of Burna Boy following his Grammy Award win 2023 claimed in an Instagram video post. “P*sssy n*ggaa, you’re killing yourself running up and down trying to prove to the rest of us that you’re not gay.
“Na you and that girl plan that thing. I know say e go spoil your name, but I go give you small money make you front like say you be olosho, make them believe say I like a woman.
“N*ggaa, if you be gay, you be gay, stop stressing yourself.”
Speed Darlington had accused Burna Boy of having a fling with US rapper Sean Diddy Combs, hence his “easy ride” to a Grammy Award. Burna Boy had Speed Darlington locked up twice in response to the accusation.
In the last arrest, Speed Darlington spent close to three months in police detention after being charged to court on allegations of cyber bullying by the police. He was set free by the Court in January after the police developed cold feet on the case.
