Afrobeats star Ahmed Ololade a.k.a Asake said Friday he never abandoned his father contrary to claims by the old man.
A man Fatai Odunsi who is afflicted with stroke disclosed in a viral video that he is the father of the “Lonely at The Top ” crooner and has he been battling illness since 2022.
“You can’t please everyone; you can’t please the world. But anything you are doing, just do it for God,” posted with a song on his Instagram account.
“My own father wants to cajole me, and I have sent so much money to him. I have struggled for so many years, but they want to make life tire me.”
Speaking in the video Mr. Odunsi claimed that despite several attempts to reach the singer, he had not received any response.
“The last time I set my eyes on him was March 2022 when my sickness started. If I called Asake, he won’t pick. Please help me, it is your help that I need,” he said.
