A 15-year-old female student at the Okota Junior Grammar School, Okota Lagos has been left bruised and battered by the school principal and a teacher.
So far, no reason has been given for the brutal assault on March 11, 2025 which made the student to lose three of her teeth.
Lagos State police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin said Sunday the principal, Kayode Abolarin, and the teacher, Atueyin Martins, have been taken into custody.
The girl’s mother according to Mr. Hundeyin filed a complaint to the police and the two men were promptly arrested to explain their their brutal beat down of the young lady.
In another incident a 74-year-old man, Aderinsola Addiths was also arrested by the Lagos police for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl on March 12, at the Iju Ishaga area of the state.
Addiths, a neighbour of the victim’s parents, allegedly lured the teenager to his room where he took undue advantage of her.
The victim was said to have reported to her mother who then filed a complaint at the police station the next day.
Following the complaint, Addiths was arrested by detectives who visited the scene.
The teenager was also taken to the hospital for examination and treatment, Hundeyin said.
