Former Super Eagles captain and Chelsea great John Mikel Obi said striker Victor Osimhen is open to joining the London club and they will go all out to get him in the summer.
Osimhen and Chelsea were close to reaching a deal in last summer transfer window, but disagreement on wages stalled the transfer. He moved on to a season long loan to Turkey to join Galatasaray, where he has continued to dominate the headlines with his goal scoring prowess.
Chelsea would have to fend off likely bid for the players by Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus that have shown interest in signing the Super Eagles top striker.
“I know exactly where we stopped. If we have to pick it up again in the summer, it’s just pretty easy to get it done because the player really wants to come to the football club,” Mikel told Sky Sport.
“If you’re talking about a striker to come in and help Chelsea Football Club, you have to talk about Alexander Isak and you have to talk about Victor Osimhen. For me, these are the top two strikers.”
