One tactics Rwanda’s Amavubi will employ in Friday’s World Cup qualifier in Kigali is to give Super Eagles top striker Victor Osimhen a tight marking.
The Rwandans believe that keeping Osimhen quiet will be key to them getting a good result.
“Osimhen is on fire and you would try to stop him in this match,” the Rwanda football federation communications manager Oliver Maurice said
“Nigeria have top quality players, but we’re not afraid, we only respect them.
“Nigeria have never won in Rwanda, we’re all excited ahead of this match and our fans will troop out in their numbers to support the team.”
Group C leaders Rwanda will welcome the Super Eagles to the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali Friday.
