The student who uploaded a song seemingly derogative to the First Lady Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu during her visit to Delta State, faced expulsion after she was issued a query on Thursday.
During her visit to the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences, Agbor on Tuesday, the students recoin a song of welcome to Mrs Tinubu rejecting her as their mother as the Master of Ceremony intended the students to hail the First Lady as their mother,

Students: “Na your mama be this o ehh…”
Miss Osato Edobor the student who allegedly uploaded the song to TikTOK and it went viral was asked explain her action deemed “malicious act” by the institution. A query dated March 27, 2025 signed by the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences, Agbor Provost Mrs. Evbodaghe Rita Ogonne, gave the student nurse 24 hours to explain herself.
But after the intervention by human rights activists including Chioma Ifemeludike and Omoleye Sowore who engaged the Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, the student was let off the hook.
“After a team led by Corpersheaven Chioma Ifemeludike met with Nurse Osato, I spoke with the Delta State Commissioner of Health, who confirmed that the state has reversed the initial letter’s recommendation to penalise her for sharing content related to the ‘Na Your Mama Be Dis’ alleged diss song aimed at Senator Remi Tinubu,” Sowore wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The withdrawal of the query letter contained in a letter signed by the college’s Provost, Evbodaghe Rita Ogonne, on Friday, March 28, 2025, stating, “The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, in his magnanimity, has directed the school authority to withdraw the query issued to you on the 27th March, 2025.”
