Arrangements for the burial of late coach Harrison Obiajulu Momah this week are in top gear.
The first leg of his final journey on earth began last Saturday April 5 with a memorial event held at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
Athletes and coaches were in attendance to pay their last respect to the veteran track and field coaching legend.
They include Falilat Ogunkoya, Deji Aliu, CSP Kabir Suleiman (DPO Igando Police station), ⁠Coach Kola Adebayo
ASP Fatai Folawiyo (Coach), Coach Hammed Ajiboye, Coach Ekundayo Oreoluwa,, Coach Gboyega Bamise, ⁠Coach AbdulAzeez Alli, Mr Yinka Bello (ex-athlete), Mr Solomon Dairo and Pastor Wale Aladefa.
Those who spoke paid tribute to coach Momah extoling his virtues, his kind nature as a human being.
Members of coach Momah’s family were also in full attendance in the occasion anchored by Tunde Suleiman.
Coach Momah who died early match in Ilorin at 82, will be laid to rest at his home on April 10. There would be a procession at the Ilorin sports Stadium where he spent most of time coaching.
