Nigeria music icon Innocent Idibia a.k.a 2Baba during the week introduced his fiancée Natasha Osawaru to his kinsmen in Idomaland Benue State.
One noticeable development was the absences of 2Baba’s parents as he presented his soon to be wife to the chiefs. There was no explanation for their no show, but observers believe, it was a way of show their disapproval of a likely marriage between 2Baba and the Edo State lawmaker.
His mother had alleged in February after 2Baba broke up with Annie Idibia, that her son has been charmed and kidnapped by Natasha Osawaru and she wanted him to be rescued. 2Baba refused to let go of his new flame responding that she is the best woman he’s ever come across. During a musical performance he dissed his mother by asking if she had gathered the ransom money to rescue him yet.
2Baba and Natasha Osawaru plan to marry officially any time soon. Though they are yet to tie the knots Natasha has adopted the Idibia surname. 2Baba and Annie Idibia were married for 12 years and have two daughters together, before the shocking separation earlier this year.
The “African Queen” singer is father to eight children with different mothers. Perhaps Natasha Osawaru would soon be carrying her own baby for the music star.
