A mother and her daughter have allegedly beaten a man to death after he confronted his daughter simply known as Onyinye for getting pregnant out of wedlock a second time.
The deceased father a commercial tricycle operator met his untimely death after he queried his daughter for getting pregnant for two different men in row. According to Neighbours, Onyinye became infuriated, she locked up the father and started beating him, she was joined by her mother, he fell and hit his head on the floor during the assault, which occurred at their residence along Urhobo Road in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
He died before Neighbours could force the door open and give him medical help.
The Police was alert to the crime, and they arrested both the mother and daughter.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe said he was yet to be briefed on the disturbing incident.
