Arsenal Ladies Saturday were crowned the Champions of Europe after they beat Barcelona 1-0 in the 2025 Women’s Champions League final.
Arsenal Ladies ended Barcelona’s hat-trick of dominance of the competition and put their name on the trophy they won last in 2007.
Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 75th minute and all efforts by the Barcelona Ladies to draw level failed to yield result as the Gunners held on to the goal scored by Stina Blackstenius after being set up by Beth Mead.
Barca were kept largely quiet in the first-half but improved in the second half with Clàudia Pina seeing a deflected effort loop onto the crossbar. Though for all their possession, they did not have enough to break down a resolute Arsenal defence
