US President Donald Trump has branded his Russian counterpart Vladmir Putin a crazy man after his army bomb Ukraine Sunday with missiles and drone.
The Russians launched 298 drones and 69 missiles of various types in what Ukrainian authorities said was the largest combined aerial assault during the conflict. This is coming as President Trump continues to push for peace.
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!” Trump posted Sunday night on his Truth Social platform.
Putin is “needlessly killing a lot of people,” Mr. Trump said, pointing out that “missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever.”
He warned that if Putin wants to conquer all of Ukraine, it will “lead to the downfall of Russia!”
Meanwhile, The Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Trump with his reaction seem to be emotionally overloaded.
“This is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions,” Kremlin spokesman said.
