Liverpool FC and Real Madrid have agreed on a deal for right back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold will join the Spanish giants in the summer when his Liverpool contract expires. Liverpool will receive about $11m for the player who is expected to make his debut for the Los Blancos against Al Hilal June 18 at the FIFA Club World Cup
Alexander-Arnold who has played for Liverpool all his professional career was a regular in the clubs rise to dominance in reent times. He made 354 appearances and scored 23 goals. During his time with the club, he won the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and two League Cups.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, said in a statement that he needed “a new challenge” at this stage in his career. He joins England teammate and friend Jude Bellingham at the Santiago Bernabéu.
