Nollywood actress Abiola Adebayo made fans to be sad after revealing she and her husband have separated.
She disclosed that they have been living apart for over a year, but they remain committed to co-parenting their son.
The seperation notwithstanding Abiola Adebayo posted on her Instagram account wishing her ex-husband a happy birthday, sharing memorable moments while also telling her followers that they have not been together since April last year.
She informed her fans not to be surprised that she referred to him as her ex-husband, openly acknowledging the end of their marriage. She shared that they have both handled the situation well and both wish to raise their son together.
She posted: “Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy. I pray that grace will abound unto you, I pray you find peace in all your ways. May God continue to light your path and bless you beyond your expectations, in Jesus name.”
In her Instagram caption, the actress gave a hint about the reasons behind the collapse of her marriage.
Addressing her fans, she continued, “To everyone that feels disappointed, I’m sincerely sorry. I wished it worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers.”
She expressed that the most important thing is to stay alive and told her fans to pray for her and the performer she shared the news about.
“While I go about making other people happy during the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months, but I gain strength from Christ, who loves me eternally and gave Himself for me.
