Victor Osimhen is expected to undergo a medical after agreeing terms with Al Hilal.
In what seem to be a transfer twist Al Hilal returned with a bigger offer, which Osimhen accepted Friday night according to reports by Sky Sports Italia, but Napoli and the Saudi side are yet to reach an agreement but hopefully would conclude this weekend. Napoli are insisting the Al Hilal meet their €75 million asking price.
Osimhen had rejected a €30m salary and bonus package, but Al Hilal desperate to have him for their Club World Cup campaigned made improved offer worth €45m a year for three seasons, which the Super Eagles top striker refused to turn down. He is expected to sign the contract in Paris after passing the medicals.
“The striker has, in fact, found an agreement with the Arab club regarding the salary he would receive. However, an agreement between the two clubs is still missing,” the outlet reported.
