Saudi club Al-Hilal are prepared to have one more go at convincing striker Victor Osimhen to sign for them.
Osimhen had already turned down a megabucks salary worth €45m a year to move to Saudi Arabia preferring to play in Europe and compete with the very best of footballers in the world.
Speaking on the Osimhen situation transfer expert Fabrizio Roman said: “My understanding is that Al-Hilal are still not giving up on Victor Osimhen,” Romano revealed. “They have not left the conversation, and they remain interested.
“They believe other clubs can’t compete with their financial proposal and this is why they want to try, despite the rejection of the player to play at the Club World Cup with them.
“They want to try again as they had an agreement with Napoli, and they are expected to return to talks with Osimhen.”
Osimhen have many options Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, Barcelona and Galatasaray where he spent the season on loan are monitoring his situation.
Meanwhile Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis has told Osimhen to report back to base ahead of the pre-season build up.
