Up and coming young music artist Jibril African is set to unveil his debut album “Fuji Sound” on June 20, 2025.
Jibril African who has been working on the project for most of the year said he was excited bringing his work to the ever-demanding music public and he is expecting a greater reception for his songs and music… a blend of Afrobeats and folklore, which he calls “Afro Fusion.”
Jibril Africana has let the cat out of the bag, giving snippets of his work on Instagram and according to him, the feedback has been encouraging, and he is coming out confident he would make an impact with his genre of music.
“Honestly, I’m humbled. The feedback has been both encouraging and emotional. People are really connecting to the heart of the music, the culture, the storytelling, the sound. Some have told me it feels fresh and nostalgic at the same time, and that’s exactly what I hoped Fuji Sound would be. It’s been love,” said Jibril Africana
He added that “Fuji Sound” is just a start of a long journey into the world of music.
“After the launch of Fuji Sound, expect more storytelling, visuals, and live sessions. This EP is just the beginning of a fuller body of work I’ve been crafting. I’m also working on connecting deeper with the audience not just online, but through live experiences, collaborations, and performances that bring the Fuji fusion sound to life.
“So far, so good. Streams are growing daily even before the full drop, especially from the previews and early releases. People are sharing the snippets, and that’s translating to more saves and pre-saves. I’m grateful for the support and I believe once the full project drops, the numbers and impact will speak louder.”
