Ademola Lookman is a player of interest for Premier League clubs like West Ham and Arsenal, but the Super Eagles attacking midfielder is not ready to return to England yet.
He is said to be considering at staying back in Italy where Napoli are considering a move and Sapin where Atletico Madrid are also eyeing him.
“The player does not want to return to the Premier League,”said transfer expert Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel
“But much will depend on the offers that come in.
“Atletico Madrid are very interested and continue to monitor the situation carefully.
“Given that, after the Ruggeri deal, the contacts between the two clubs have resumed, and interesting scenarios could open up,” he said.
Lookman, whose contract with Atalanta runs until 2027, is currently valued at around €50m, with Moretto describing it as a significant figure that only a few clubs may be willing to meet.
