There seems to be no break through in transfer talks between Napoli and Galatasaray for a Victor Osimhen deal.
Napoli have agreed that Galatasaray pay the €75m asking price in five installments but the Turkey champions cannot provide bank guarantees they would be able to do so.
According to reports by Football Italia Thursday’s meeting hit huge obstacles, with the lack of a reliable letter of guarantee from a bank prompting Napoli to call a halt to the talks.
Napoli are not willing to continue without the bank guarantees because they’ve had a situation with Galatasaray during the transfer for Goran Pandev and Blerim Dzemaili, Galatasaray delayed payment.
Galatasaray director Abdullah Kavukcu stayed back in Italy to push the talks through.
Meanwhile according to reports Osimhem has made up his mind to leave Napoli and has refused to participate in pre-season training with club. Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be monitoring the situation.
