Victor Osimhen is expected to arrive in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday and Galatasaray and their fans have planned a big welcome party.
Napoli reluctantly negotiated the release of the top striker with the Turkish champions who see the signing of Osimhen on permanent basis as a significant milestone in the history of the club. They agreed to pay the €75m clause in three installments of €40m up front and the balance spread out before the end of 2026. Napoli will get a 10 percent from any sale of Osimhen above the €75m clause. Gala are also paying Osimhen a €25m a year wage.
According to reports in Turkey, fans are excited about the success of the deal and are looking forward to having their man back in Istanbul.
Galatasaray fans are already buzzing with anticipation for Osimhen’s arrival. Social media is awash with messages planning a “historic welcome” at the airport, with hundreds of thousands of supporters expected to track the striker ‘s private jet landing online.
